SIMSCal Instrument-Making Class Reservation Policy

By submitting your payment, you agree to the following:

I am requesting to reserve a spot in the next available session of an instrument-making class advertised by SIMSCal.  I understand that my first tuition installment payment is due at least 10 days before the course start date.

By making this deposit for a class offered by SIMSCal, I am committing to a course of study spanning multiple weeks, and reserving a spot that may not be able to be filled by another student.

I understand that there are fixed costs associated with hosting this class, which SIMSCal must pay, regardless of my ability to complete the course of study.

Due to the sequential nature of the processes involved in building musical instruments, SIMSCal cannot accept new students once classes have begun.

I also understand that there will be certain labor-intensive processes that may need to be completed on my own time (homework) in order to be prepared for the next class, and in order to complete an instrument ”in the white” in the stated timeframe.

I further understand the cancellation policy is as follows:

Deposits are non-refundable.

If I need to cancel my reservation, and I give more than 30 days notice, I may apply my deposit to a future course.

If I cancel my reservation less than 30 days before the course start date, and my spot is filled by another student, I will be able to apply my deposit to a future course.

If I cancel less than 30 days before the course and my spot is not filled by another student, my tuition will not be returned, or applicable to another class.

I understand my deposit and tuition will be refunded in full in the case of any course cancellation by SIMSCal prior to the start of a course.

Cancelations after the start of a course caused by public health emergency, natural disaster, or act of war or terrorism, at the discretion of SIMSCal in consultation with the instructor, may be construed as a postponement of the class, until further notice.

By making this deposit I understand, and agree to, the above policies.
